Building Lives Around Sound Truth

BLAST is Fairlawn’s Vacation Bible School experience designed specifically for students who have completed 6th–12th grade. BLAST stands for Building Lives Around Sound Truth, and its purpose is to help teenagers grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover how God's truth speaks into their everyday lives.

Faith That Connects to Real Life

Throughout the week, students will engage with biblical teaching that is relevant, practical, and centered on Jesus Christ. Through interactive lessons, discussions, and shared experiences, teens will have the opportunity to ask questions, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and learn what it means to follow Christ in today's world.

Fun, Energy, and Community

BLAST is packed with exciting games, activities, and challenges designed specifically for middle and high school students. It’s a place where teens can have fun, connect with friends, meet new people, and create lasting memories in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Worship Designed for Students

Each evening includes engaging worship created with students in mind. Through music, prayer, and teaching, teens will have the opportunity to encounter God, grow spiritually, and be encouraged in their walk with Christ alongside their peers.

A Place to Belong

Whether a student has grown up in church or is exploring faith for the first time, BLAST is a place where everyone is welcome. Our hope is that every teenager leaves with stronger friendships, a deeper understanding of God's truth, and confidence in the love and purpose Christ has for their life.

Have students too young for BLAST?

Children who have completed Kindergarten–5th grade are invited to Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Join us for a week of fun, friendship, games, music, and interactive Bible lessons as kids discover that God's faithfulness in the book of Exodus is just as real today. It’s an exciting and welcoming place for children to grow in their faith and make lasting memories.
