Growing, Playing, and Learning About God

At FNC Kids, our goal is to help every child grow in their relationship with Jesus through meaningful connections, engaging Bible lessons, and hands-on life application. We believe kids learn best when they feel known, loved, and encouraged to live out their faith in real and practical ways—both at church and at home.

Who we serve

Infant - 5th Grade

We warmly welcome your children and want to make sure the entire family feels connected! We offer safe, age-appropriate environments designed to disciple your kids while you attend service. For mothers and infants, we provide a comfortable, private room so you can remain connected to the service. Our nursery (infants through toddlers) is a nurturing space where little ones begin to learn about God's love through guided play and story time. Preschoolers & Kindergarteners get hands-on, engaging lessons with God's Word. Finally, 1st through 5th grade enjoy dynamic education and music focusing on core biblical truths, ensuring every age group learns and grows in faith.

A Comforting Space for Moms and Little Ones

Our Cradle Room is a quiet, comfortable space if needed that is designed especially for nursing mothers, napping babies, and diaper changes. We understand that caring for little ones can be unpredictable, so this room provides a calm and private place where parents can tend to their children while still feeling connected to the worship experience.

Infant-Toddlerhood

Our nursery is a quiet, caring space where infants and toddlers will be cared for while you worship or attend a class. We engage every age group through activities designed for growth: Music Time promotes language and joy, Story Time anchors their hearts in scripture and fundamental Christian values, and Craft Time encourages them to share, speak kindly, and interact positively. Our goal is to ensure every child leaves having felt God's love while building essential social skills and foundational biblical truth.

Pre-School & Kindergarten

Your young students are just learning what it is like to be in school, to sit and learn, to navigate feelings and emotions, and learning a routine. They spend time learning God's Word to anchor their young minds in truth, while actively practicing the Fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) teaches them how to live and interact with others as Christ-followers. These early lessons in discipline and character are essential tools for navigating the world in faith.

1st - 5th Grade

For our 1st through 5th graders, the focus is on actively Making Disciples by fostering deep Relationships built on Christ's love. Through intentional Christian Education, we teach biblical Values, following the wisdom of Proverbs 22:6—"Train up a child in the way he should go"—to ensure God's truth is the foundation of their lives. We emphasize Life Application, guiding students to move beyond simply knowing Bible stories to understanding how to live out their faith, serve others, and share the gospel in their everyday world, turning knowledge into action.

Proverbs 22:6: "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it".

What we learn

Curriculum

To create spiritual continuity across all age groups, your children will be focusing on the same Bible story each month. This shared learning is delivered through age-specific methods: tailored Scripture memorization for each stage, unique activities designed for their developmental level, and thoughtful take-home questions intended to prompt enriching discussions. This ensures the entire family can easily engage in meaningful conversations and apply God's Word together around the dinner table.

The Need

What to Expect

We love children and having the opportunity to help them learn and grow. But we also know that in order to have the opportunity to work with them, you as a parent need to be confident that they are in good hands.

Rest assured, your child’s safety is always top-of-mind for our staff. Two key pieces that they are in a safe and fun environment is as follows: a child check-in process and a vetted volunteer staff including background checks.

We will collect any emergency contact information, allergy information, or things we'd need to know about your child to ensure a safe and engaging day. We'll help walk you through the check-in process via the Church Center app or manually with our Kid's Greeter.

First Time Info

On your first visit, our helpful staff will help guide you through the check-in process. Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before the service begins to accommodate the first-time check-in.

EARLY DISCIPLESHIP

Children's Bible Quizzing

Children's Bible Quizzing is for children ages 6-12 (or 1st-6th grade). It is critical to help children know what the Bible says so they can translate what they learned and how it applies to real-life situations. Even more so, a child will learn and know the God of the Bible.

There are 6 books that have been selected denomination wide to help a child understand the chronology and meaning of the Bible. Those include Genesis, Exodus, Joshua/Judges/Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, Matthew, and Acts.

Each child challenges themselves to reach award levels and quiz against a knowledge base and have friendly competition between their team mates and those of other churches.

"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11
