Start the School Year Strong

The Back to School Bash is a free community event hosted by Fairlawn to help families prepare for a successful school year. We know that back-to-school season can be both exciting and challenging, so our goal is to provide practical support, helpful resources, and a welcoming environment for families throughout our community.

School Supplies & Community Resources

Families will have the opportunity to receive school supplies and connect with local organizations that are making a difference in our community. From educational resources to family support services, our community partners will be available to share information and help connect you with programs and opportunities that can benefit your family throughout the year.

Fun for the Whole Family

The Back to School Bash is about more than school supplies—it's a celebration of our community! Kids can enjoy games, activities, and other family-friendly fun while parents connect with neighbors and community leaders. There will be something for everyone to enjoy as we come together to kick off a new school year.

Children who have completed Kindergarten–5th grade are invited to Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Join us for a week of fun, friendship, games, music, and interactive Bible lessons as kids discover that God's faithfulness in the book of Exodus is just as real today. It’s an exciting and welcoming place for children to grow in their faith and make lasting memories.

Don't miss out on BLAST!

 Students who have completed 6th–12th grade are invited to BLAST, our VBS experience designed just for teens! Happening at the same time and place as VBS, BLAST includes games, worship, real conversations, and Bible teaching geared toward students in middle and high school. It’s a fun and welcoming place to build friendships, grow in faith, and discover how God’s faithfulness still matters today.
