Sunday School

At Fairlawn Nazarene, Christian education is a priority because we believe growing in faith means growing in understanding.  Through Bible-centered teaching, engaging classes, and intentional discipleship, we seek to equip all ages to know God’s Word, live it out daily, and share it with others.

Thriving in Babylon

Thriving in Babylon

Based on Thriving in Babylon by Larry Osborne, this class explores the “adult” story of Daniel and how to live faithfully in a culture that doesn’t share our values. Together, we’ll learn how to replace panic with hope, practice true optimism, walk in humility, respond with wisdom, and show respect in a way that points others to Christ. Discover how to not just survive—but truly thrive—where God has placed you.

Genesis From A New Perspective

Genesis From A New Perspective

Genesis is not a science book, but it has a bit of science in it. It's not a history book, but it has some history in it. Genesis is a love story from God to us. In the book of Genesis, we see the Gospel story over and over. God tells us His plan for redemption from the very first sentence, over and over again. We are digging into Genesis to see God's plan for man, from the very beginning.

Unshakeable Hope

Unshakeable Hope

Because life is filled with problems, God's Word is filled with promises. Since his Word is unbreakable, we can build our lives on the promises of God.

Intercessory Prayer

Intercessory Prayer

Intercessory prayer is much needed in the world we live in. Whether you are interceding for someone in prayer in person or whether you are interceding for someone during your personal prayer time, know that your prayers can move mountains! (Matthew 17:20) Your prayers can change the outcome of any situation! (Exodus 13:14 and many others) During our time together this quarter, you will find inspiration, courage, and boldness to pray confidently for others.
